Drink Talk Rules

Drink Talk exists for its members and as such has to take into account what every member would like, so, to make it a more pleasant environment the following rules are published so that the members are fully aware of the conduct the we (Mr Admin and the moderators) expect.

PubAdvertiser reserves the right to remove all material which we consider inappropriate and have the right to ban you or suspend your account without prior warning. This is a private site and as such we will decide who can post what and reserve the right to remove, edit or delete your post(s) or account(s) and by posting you agree to this.

It is expressly forbidden to post material which is pornographic, offensive, defamatory, harassing, infringing, factually incorrect or otherwise unlawful or illegal, or to post material(s) that is/are in any way contrary to accepted morality and behaviour.

You have viewed these rules and any participation is in agreement of all rules shown on this site. You agree to be bound by all rules shown on this page.

The material contained in the PubAdvertiser forums are submitted by the general public, unless directly stated discussion; and is for discussion purposes only.

PubAdvertiser cannot and does not warrant the completeness or accuracy of the news, information, or other content found on our site, or its usefulness for any particular purpose.

PubAdvertiser has the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realise that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this message board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyrighted material is owned by you. Although we do not and cannot review the messages posted and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

We think that the rules help to keep the post quality very high and make for a pleasant atmosphere.

No Racist, sexist or homophobic posts

Members may not post messages that are racist, sexist or homophobic - this is without exceptions. Any post deemed to have racist, sexist, homophobic content shall result in an immediate deletion of the post and permamant ban of the post instigator.

No Swearing or pseudo sweaing

There shall be no swearing and this includes the alteration of words to $!*%. This rule is there to make for a more friendly family atmosphere and is expected to be adhered to. Any post that has swearing will be edited and the post instigator can expect to be banned for 24 hours. Further occurances of swearing will result in a 48 hour ban and if swearing continues then a permanent ban may be considered.

No indecent images

No pictures containing male or female nudity can be attached to any Drink Talk post, this also extends to signitures and avatars. If such a picture is found then the post instigator can expect a 24 hour ban and deletion of his/her post, signature or avatar. Further occurances will result in a 48 hour ban and a permanent ban will considered if this continues. This also includes no linking to external sites that contain material that would be unacceptable at Drink Talk. If the material is of a sexual nature and is suspected to involve minors, the post will be removed at the earliest notification, and the post instigator will be immediately reported to the Police.

Advertising

Please note that using the board to advertise a company, companies or actively promote/advertise goods is expressly forbidden without the prior consent of the webmaster/moderators. The targeting of members to sell products directly or indirectly without prior consent will result in your account being suspended. It is also expressly forbidden to offer copies of cracked, hacked or copied software and this may result in an immediate ban. Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers and merchants found on or through any of the services contained on the site, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser or merchant. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that: (a) PubAdvertiser shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers and merchants on the site, and (b) any orders placed by you on, and any product specifications and product availability appearing on, the site are subject to confirmation by, and the terms and conditions of business of, the relevant merchant. The appearance of an advert does not mean that we endorse the advertiser's goods or services. PubAdvertiser is not responsible for the accuracy of any advertising material or the usefulness of an advertised product or service.
